After several years of Banking, in 1992 I took a three-week vacation to Italy, which turned into a three-month spiritual calling.

Upon returning home, I enrolled in the Barbara Brennen School of Healing (BBSH), a 4 year training in Brennen Healing Science. Training included: the study of the human energy field (HEF), or aura, the psychodynamics, energy blocks and defense systems as manifested in the body and energy field. Brennan Healing Science is a spiritual hands on healing process designed to balance, clear, repair and charge the energy field to promote healing from within, working on all aspects of the body (spiritual, emotional, and physical).

During this time I also received my license in Massage Therapy at the Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy. I went to work for various spas’ in the area, the latter being Foxwoods Resort and Spa, and worked there for 4 ½ years.

In 2001 I opened a practice in Norwich located at the World Gym and Racquet Club, after 3 ½ years I moved my practice to my current location, the Landmark Building in the center of Columbia. 326 Rt. 87 Columbia, CT.

Other studies include, Bio-Energetics, Cranial Sacral, Trigger pt., Qi-Gong, and Meditation.

Current student of The Light Source Center (LSC) since 1997. LSC is a nonprofit Education center founded by Natlie using specific meditation for personal growth, guiding one to discover their own truths through their connection to spirit.

Lucy Saved Me from Surgery!

I have been a client of Lucy Drabek since 1996. I hurt my back while working construction, I had a #L5 cracked vertebrae. I was trying everything in my power not to have surgery. I was seeing a chiropractor and he recommended Lucy to me.

Her healing massages got me back to work and has kept me on track for 17 yrs. (without surgery). In 2011 I retired and then needed knee surgery, now arthritis has set in. I go to Lucy on a bi-weekly basis for my arthritis pain and my back pain. If I have extra pain, she always finds time to fit me in before my next scheduled appointment.

She has helped me immensely and I would highly recommend her to anyone in pain, or if they just needed some relaxation therapy. She is a very kind and pleasant person. All of my family are now clients of Lucy. She has helped us with our gift giving for Holidays and Birthdays.

Who wouldn’t appreciate a gift certificate for an hour of relaxation? We even got our granddaughter going to Lucy. She said it was one of her best Birthday gifts ever.

We Would Never Give Up Lucy's Massages!

My husband and I have been going to Lucy to receive massages for several years. I suffer from arthritis in my neck and the massages Lucy gives have increased my range of motion to the point where I can once again easily turn my head to both sides. I am so grateful for the increase and attribute it directly to the two massages a month I receive from Lucy.

My husband is a polio survivor, and strongly feels that the massages have enabled him to continue to work in construction, which is a very physical field. Both of us would give up anything else before we gave up our twice a month massages from Lucy, a very skilled massage therapist.

Worth the Travel Every Time

I have known Lucy, for over 10 years. I first started seeing her for a massage in Norwich and followed her to Columbia. It is a long trek from Danielson, but worth the travel time.

Four years ago I flipped over my handle bars on my bike and hurt my back. My doctor recommended physical therapy. I chose Lucy instead. All of my referrals have had similar experiences. My wife Ginny and I look forward to our monthly appointments.

A Miracle Worker!

I have gone to Lucy for 5 years. She’s a miracle worker! I do a lot of heavy lifting and often work off shifts. My back and neck hurt all the time I often got stiff necks.

When I call Lucy she fits me in depending on my schedule. After seeing her the pain is gone and the stiffness disappeared. She is amazing. She is a wonderful, compassionate person and knows her field. I highly recommend her!
